The weather in Luxor
November is one of the loveliest times to be on the Nile — warm, sunny and dry. Expect days around 28°C (84°F) and cooler evenings around 14°C (57°F), with virtually no rain. Light layers for the evenings are perfect.

Getting to Luxor

First of all, you are our guests at Hotel Al Moudira — your stay is entirely taken care of. The flights themselves, however, are yours to arrange: either book your own, or reserve a seat on the private charter we're organising (more on that just below).

As for getting there: direct flights to Luxor are extremely rare — only a couple of cities have them — so most guests will connect through Cairo or Hurghada. Here are the options:

Your Flight

Let us know how you'll be arriving, so we can arrange your transfer to Al Moudira.

Join the Munich charter
We're arranging a private charter from Munich — Condor, all-Business-Class aboard a new A320neo, out Thursday and back Sunday evening. €900 each way (€1,800 return). Tap to join and we'll send you all the details once we have them.

See you in Luxor

There's plenty still to come — the daily programme, excursions, a little sport for the energetic, ceramics and cooking for the creative, a touch of pampering for the rest of us, and — so no one arrives in the wrong shoes — the dress code. All will follow soon.
